The Biggest Rubber Duck EVER

Well, I feel like I've seen all I need to see in Hong Kong. The 54-foot rubber duck that has been to several cities around the world is currently in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour and I got to see it in person (with hundreds of my closest friends). Yay!

What's new:
We had a couchsurfer stay with us this weekend and it was so fun! Marina is from Barcelona. We spoke Spanish together and I loved the chance to practice and talk about my wonderful memories in Spain and learn about her life there. She just moved to Shanghai and came to Hong Kong to do some visa stuff, so she made a trip of it. I showed her around one day to all the hot spots and it felt so cool to show Hong Kong off as a place I know, the place I live. How fun!

What I've learned:
News flash, my dearest loved ones: Hong Kong is hot in the summer. They tell me this isn't even the worst of it. My body has been adjusting and is not too pleased, to be honest. That has led to some changes in the daily routine for this girl. Like several showers per day. Cold showers. I have never appreciated a cold shower more in my life. My skin thanks the people who provide us with cold water.
